To promote sustainable energy management and ensure efficient utilization of energy across the campus, Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) has established a structured mechanism for monthly review of energy usage from all academic and administrative buildings.

Conclusion

Through careful observation and assessment of energy usage patterns, RUET has identified key areas of energy wastage, including the use of aged vehicles with high carbon emissions and the excessive operation of air conditioners at very low temperatures. In response, the university has implemented targeted measures to address these issues.
