To promote sustainable energy use and reduce dependence on conventional electricity sources, Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) has planned and implemented a series of measures to reduce overall energy consumption across its campus.

Through the planned installation of solar-backed and LED-based street lights, alongside rooftop solar generation, LED interior lighting, inverter air conditioning, and passive daylighting measures already documented across campus, RUET demonstrates its commitment to sustainable infrastructure, clean energy adoption, and responsible electricity use.
