RAJSHAHI — Student teams at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) have presented eco-friendly prototypes and renewable-energy hardware projects at university-hosted climate camps.

The projects were judged by faculty experts, with an explicit aim of contributing to Bangladesh’s national renewable-energy targets.

The showcases give students a platform to turn classroom knowledge into working hardware, and connect the university’s sustainability goals with practical innovation. They build on the work of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, which hosted a 2026 climate camp focused on renewable-energy prototypes and air-pollution-control technologies.

The showcases support SDG 12 and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) through renewable-energy innovation.
